Affiliate database compromised - passwords released online

Any affiliates of the RadVideo.com program should be aware that a backup copy of the affiliate database was accidentally, I'm certain, made available to the world for an unknown period of time. I came across the database file while conducting some online research into a credit card of mine that was compromised and used fraudulently. Although I didn't find what I was looking for (e.g., my credit card info being traded in a forum), I did find the mentioned db file which includes affiliate name, email, website, login, password.

I immediately contacted RadVideo and subsequently they have removed the file from the publicly accessible directory where it was stored. A cached copy remained online for a few days - it appears to be gone as of today.

When I spoke with this company, several days ago, I recommended that they immediately contact their affiliates to alert them to their information having been compromised, and to advise them to change their passwords and to monitor for any potential breaches of security that might have occurred/be occurring as a result of the db file being made avail. To date, however, affiliates have not been contacted, so I am posting here to alert anyone who might be affected.

Rogue employee for sure. Either that, or it had to do with the Epass fiasco. Then again, blame it on Brazzers.

You would think companies would atleast encrypt that sort of stuff in their database....

or simply not make it accessible from a web browser? Surely that ranks #1?
                What a fuckup
or maybe this was their way of daily sql backups... distributed amongst many desktops?
