    Win98 - 2000 - XP?

I'm having a new computer built... and have the choice of the OS's. I'm currently on 98 and sort of inclined to stay with it.

    I don't think I want MicroSpy's XP.

    Any thoughts on this?

        From own experience:

Win2k is the best pick.... stable, undestructible and fast.

I don't know, I think that it'd be good to go for Win XP. You figure that it's gonna be pretty mainstreem like Windows 98 is now, so why not go for it. I'll probably jump on it when it comes out, just for something different.

I currently use Win ME, but wish i still had 98. XP sounds nice, except for all the shit they pull with it.

I agree 100% - bur must have at least 128RAM in order to let win2k run smooth

I've got win2k on one and 98 on another.

I prefer 98 over win2k more alot more.
as to xp it would be along time at least
a year before I try it.

128M? I'm not sure they make 'em that small anymore. My calculator has more than that.

One gig of RAM feels good !

Crucial still has (or maybe had) free 2 day FedEx shipping on their RAM. Check it out, it's fast RAM for a good price.
