So I posted a question about the balloon niche yesterday, which you can see at http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=128272 . Despite some smart ass answers, I got some useful info, specially from MandyD. Funny thing is that my wife is a psychologist, and even when she didn't even hear about this fetish, she gave me an explanation which was almost 100% confirmed on other sources I found. It seems that ALL fetishes have the same origin and psychologically they all work more or less the same. Very long story and I still miss a part, but it includes Melanie Klein, bad breast and good breast theory, schizoid paranoid disorders and all that kind of glamour things. I know she's really smart, but never thought to that point.

Anyway, here's some facts I've found about this fetish:
- it's part of latex fetish
- it's related to breast feeding and also puerility. Most of them like childlish images
- the pleasure is connected to different stimuli, from touch and sight, to smell
- there are 2 main groups of "looners": poppers and non poppers. Poppers are those who need the balloon to burst to get to the climax. These is the biggest group.
- non-poppers are the psichologically more "deviated"
- some "looner" activities include popping, bouncing, squeezing, blowing and aspiring air from balloons

With all this data, I tried to incorporate it into a more simpler concept, which you can see here. This is what I get from absolute knowledge to a little knowledge, so I'd appreciate any constructive criticism, but just in case, read above what matters to "looners" and after that visit one balloon site from one of the big guys. Try to find any similarity between what appeals to them and what they offer. Now, Gothweb, I feel a little less guilty about being responsible for the bad name of porn

OK, my boys, here it goes: all fetishes have a root in childhood. All children are considered "polimorphic perverts" (go figure!), and that's because they can't see objects as a whole, but they focus in determined parts that for one or other reasons call their attention. The fixation on determined stages causes the fetishism for the loved object. Not all fetishisms have obvious relations, but some of them have deep roots into the unconscious. In the pee example, people has fixation with the anal-sadic stage, and it's originated in the fear of castration. Boys like to see their moms peeing and they think they've very tiny penises or even chopped ones. Eventually, they evolve and in phallic stage they get the body and its functions as a whole. But those with strong fixations to this stage tend to look for the own safety of his penis, and compare it to the lack of penis of the woman. The peeing (and even poo) is just the classical "gift" from childs, it's a gift from their own bodies, and therefore it has strong symbolic connotations.

Finally, all fetishes require an object of love (panties, peeing, latex, leather, ropes), if they don't have it, they're considered pervertions (like rape, including as a fantasy). Not sure about sneezing, first notice I've about its existence, but it looks to me that it's included into the pervert area
