    Google.com Predictive "Slow" Shit

Google is really fucking pissing me off. Isnt there a way to stop that predictive shit?

Its so slow when youre typing something in fast and its offering suggestions. I preferred it before.......

Doesn't bother me, as i don't notice any slowdown here.

If anything infact i'd say it does save me time...

          That's what "predicting" is.

Just don't read the suggestions then. They don't appear on the text line anyway so forget about it...

Even Nostradamus would have been better than Google at predicting my searches

I have got used to them pretty much, it definitely annoyed me at first

You can change your preferences even without a google account. And after this you can choose to display more than 10 results per page. Just go to google.com and use the "Settings" link (top right corner).

What I hate more is that it presumes way too much these days. If you type a word it doesn't recognize, it shows you results for similar dictionary words, which sucks when you're searching for a technical term which isn't in the dictionary. And if you search for "how to [such and such] in floplayer" it also gives you highlighted results for similar things such as "flvplayer", for example. JUST GIVE ME EXACTLY WHAT I'M SEARCHING FOR!!

This puts them in danger of a competitor coming out with something slightly better and taking the market (can happen very quickly on the Internet), which I never would have thought possible a couple years ago.

It's a pain in the ass to have to keep turning it off.

It even causes my browser to freeze.

                      No wonder Bing is growing.
