Can't say I'm surprised... Waiting for the death or jail news.
“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
Wonder who will have the balls to host/register the site again..
On the other hand, it would be better if people had the documents and started posting them up on their own sites to just keep it all going. Thousands of sites keeping it all live would be the ultimate nightmare for those wanting it all to just disappear.

Yeah, it's not the first time that this happened (I remember those Scientology OTs which was a big thing here in the NL). Not surprisingly they are already distributed through BitTorrent as well.
I liked wikileaks better when it still was a wiki.
Nowadays, the seem to specifically want to fight the US. Not much on there. And they hold the exclusive access to what can be uploaded and what not.
We should be allowed to post info of Mallick there, for example.

the wikileaks splinter group is going to be an anonymous upload site with no editor.
"I try to make a habit of bouncing my eyes up to the face of a beautiful woman, and often repeat “not mine” in my head or even verbally. She’s not mine. God has her set aside. She’s not mine. She’s His little girl, and she needs me to fight for her by keeping my eyes where they should be."
As soon as he starts talking about having dirt on a major bank the shit hits the fan.
He already has...
"In an interview published Monday, Wikileaks founder Julian Assange revealed that his whistleblower website intends to publish a trove of secret documents exposing the corruption of a major American bank."

I dont understand why someone would announce what they're about to do, rather than just doing it. Is this hollywood marketing or something? Trying to stir up enthusiasm in people in advance? That was not bright.

why that's a good question
considering how those tube sites were pulled for 'criminal content', there is other questions

I've been wondering the same. I think he knows he wants to go a certain direction, doesn't have supporting doc's but knows if he talks about it in advance, people will show up with supporting docs he needs to build his case.
He wont have balls for long. The CIA will remove them for him.
Really???? well according to one article, the CIA has been funding him.. he's "fleece" them for as much as he can get out of them.. and he has major dirt on them...
all they need to do to fix wikileaks.org is change the nameservers. The domain status looks fine. I don't understand why they haven't changed nameservers yet, either they don't have access to the dynadot account or else they're just eating up the free publicity.
The DNS provider stopped providing DNS service for wikileaks.org. The nameservers for wikileaks.org is still showing:
Name Server:NS1.EVERYDNS.NET
Name Server:NS2.EVERYDNS.NET
Name Server:NS3.EVERYDNS.NET
Name Server:NS4.EVERYDNS.NET
EveryDNS posted a public statement:
“EveryDNS.net provided domain name system (DNS) services to the wikileaks.org domain name until 10PM EST, December 2, 2010, when such services were terminated. As with other users of the EveryDNS.net network, this service was provided for free. The termination of services was effected pursuant to, and in accordance with, the EveryDNS.net Acceptable Use Policy.“
The domain does NOT appear to be seized. And Dynadot, the registrar for wikileaks.org, doesn't appear to have stopped service for it.
I'm not sure why wikileaks hasn't changed to new nameservers yet.
