    Setting up SendMail

Ever have as task so simple, that you can't find any documentation on it?

I am trying to set up my first email account on my new server, but all the tutorials skip the simple stuff and get right to the complex options. I can't find a tutorial that just says "Here is how you set up an email account on sendmail"

All I need to do it set up [email protected] on my server, and can't figure it out.

Naturally I have root access...and I'm using Webmin (which isn't really helpful either)

    Any help / links?

here's a quick tutorial to help out with sendmail:
        http://rimuhosting.com/support/setti...p?mta=sendmail

I'm not a big fan of sendmail anymore, it was the standard back in the day but I definitely prefer postfix now. Exim might even be easier for you to setup.

If that tutorial doesn't help or you have questions let me know and I'll try to help as much as possible.

if you set up sendmail correctly for internet traffic incoming, all you have to do is create an account on the machine you want with the username president and that account will get mail
