Mostly the complaints I've seen are about massive email spams, as opposed to a board announcement. Did Greenguy spam everyone's mailbox too ? Yet still, people know Greenguy and Swoit had yet to prove themselves as legitimate or a trusted group to work with.

Didn't greenguy just send out email to people that had submitted to him in the past on one of his many sites? I don't see anything wrong with that.

This swoit bullshit is just pure spam plain and simple.

If the spam was about the very site I submitted at don't think I would complain at all (not that I'm complaining now either except I sure didn't knwingly subscribe myself to his board newsletter couple dozen times). Think GreenGuy prolly owns a TGP too somewhere cos I didn't submit to link-o-rama in last few years and all the spams I get are to my TGP domain addresses. But I've met and like GreenGuy so I'm patiently just unsubscribing couple dozens email addies off his list np

1st off, I have no idea who "swoit.com" is

2nd, all I did was send newsletters to those that have submitted sites/galleries to my linksites/tgp's in the past - I'm not sitting here making up email addy's - they were given to me by the webmaster when they submitted

I could sit here all day & re-post all my replies from the past threads, but it's probably easier of you just search my name on the board:
