#1 - 1.3 isn't supported anymore
#2 - 2.2 is faster
#3 - Many modules aren't supporting 1.3 anymore

the only reason to use 1.x is if you're using openbsd's audited apache. Otherwise 2.x is much better.

Version two simply beacuse version one is obsolete,and some scripts wont work with version one.
