    UltraEdit help....

Does anyone know where I can find the list of commands used in ultraedit, shit...it's too time consuming doing by hand. All I really need to do right now is replace double spacing with once space as is Go..Fuck..Yoursel..to
Go.Fuck.Yourself notice the dots between the words, only it's spaces in my doc. which is why I can't just use the replace command

    any help would be apreciated.....

    thanx, cheers!

            thanx
It does work you have to click advanced and select regular
expressions then spaces, tabs, enters will work aswell
and it can do multiple files at once

In advanced there is also a help file that shows you all the stuff
you can do with it. It's extremely powerfull

you can just select text, spaces, tabs and hit ctrl+r then it will
take the selected stuff and put it auto in the part you want to
              replace

You can see the UE shortcuts in the menu. It tells on you what the command keys are for different actions. Or Help / Index / Keyboard Commands

There's a shitload of editors out there, but UltraEdit is definitly one of the best...if you work in Linux tough, you can achieve miracles with EMacs...I know some guys who do everything with it...check their email, programing, scripting etc...
