Anything built from or using Wordpress code is required to carry the same license that Wordpress is licensed under.

It is true that the license of Worpdress must be open and it is.

All scripts on Wordpress are also open.

What is not open are a few custom scripts which control the custom affiliate links. These scripts are NOT connected directly to the Wordpress application.

The program outputs RSS feeds since it uses Wordpress.

And if you want you can also use the Wordpress post output method.
