I need to try to detect employee theft at a retail location. Currently have some lorex cameras which are a POS and very blurry/bad quality. What's a good indoor camera for this purpose? No need for night vision, just need a nice picture. Don't want to spend more than $200 on each camera if thats possible.
Security camera recommendations?

I like the easy of use found in Logitech's products.
Take a look at their system: Logitech Alert™ 750i Master System
Easy to configure, good quality and overall very nice products.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought the Cisco/Linksys WVC80N and I've been very happy with it.
Email alerts when motion detected, view video on my cellphone, bunch of other features make it nice. It was about $130 from newegg.comWebmaster Coupons Coupons and discounts for hosting, domains, SSL Certs, and more!

Maybe you could attach a camera to the uniform of the employee. The camera will videotape everything he/she does. Good luck.Send me an email: [email protected]Comment

Sounds like a good deal for $130.
But,the images I have seen that model look kinda shitty.

it comes stock at a shitty resolution. You can bump it up to 640x480 and it's pretty decent. Looks really nice on the cellphone but viewing it fullscreen in a browser leaves a little to be desired.
Low light settings it is OK enough, in good lighting conditions the images are pretty decent.
The motion detection can be setup in zones, so you can put a zone around a safe or something and only get notification for motion within that zone. Camera can email photos, or store photos to a network based storage device.
For $130 or so I'm really happy with it.
For $240 (on sale) Cisco has a better camera with pan and tilt that seems better quality and got better reviews.Webmaster Coupons Coupons and discounts for hosting, domains, SSL Certs, and more!
