It is a nightmare! I have spent all day on this. My tech told me to turn of the email protection, just until all the email downloads, but I am too scared to do that.

          Hello......
We haven't seen this virus yet.
What is the problem with it?
Is it worse then any other virus?

          kisses

I set my server to delete all messages over 185kb. Who the fuck needs to send a message over that size, anyway? I hope no one's trying to send me pics like some models do to get their site linked. I think a simple link to a website with pics is good enough, why waste my time downloading crap like that.

Another thing, hotmail should test for the stupid things and delete them itself. Godammit, if the account goes over 2 megs then it threatens to delete messages (which are NEVER the stupid junk mail ones) if it's not under 2 megs within 4 or 5 days, and EVEN IF it goes under 2 megs after deleting the virus emails, and then goes BACK over 2 megs before the 4 or 5 days, then the selected messages are still deleted.

            Morons.

Hell, I'm getting them much more as of late. I was really pissed off because ONE PERSON sent me 130 of them in one batch, I emailed him to tell him to clean his system. Hopefully he did.

This software works great. You can mass delete them without having to download them to your machine.

Exactly. ISP's have a lot more disk quota, especially when your HD is included in that. MS has only 2 megs for everything, and the bastards aren't doing a thing about it. So I have to sit and let hotmail threaten to delete my files as a result of overusing the space.... yeah, right on, MS. They could at least give an option to block large emails. It would save them bandwidth, for one.

Yeah, I've had more than a few people do this to me. But I just have them deleted from server thanks to outlooks mail rules.

For my personal account, which is hotmail, I normally reply and tell them about the virus (I have a pre-written email stored, so I just copy n paste, since I do it SO OFTEN), and then block their email address. It's never from my friends, so why the hell not? Half of the time their mailboxis full, so they never get my message, and will just keep sending me more anyway. (And most people wouldn't even know how to get rid of the virus even though I tell them. You and I shouldn't have to deal with other people's inability to use a computer.) So I just block them... I can't have my account going over balance every day causing me lost personal emails.
