FFMpeg was a bit of a cunt ... but its running perfectly now, and I must say I am impressed!

I have a few copies of smart thumbs and I know the coding is top notch. I also think konrad's script is really good too. And I like the fact that it's unlimited domains. Like I said, I am buying script today if I can decide which:-)

I need the ability to charge different prices for different videos and offer subscriptions. Just not sure which will work the best. Anyone else used these scripts can help?

Script has installer which works great, but the server must be configured to fit all STP's needs and this is were it can go wrong. But we are here to help.

Yeah ffmpeg is a pain in the ass but other then that and mencoder there isn't really many other ways to encode videos on linux

yep we have native Zambaio support build in, yes STP does mobile as well as it can switch template on the fly when it detects a mobile device, so no special sub-domain necessary

My host (who posted in this thread) solved the FFMPEG problems quickly and the support staff at STP really went out of their way to make sure all my questions were answered and problems solved - BePe even worked directly with my host to get everything solved.

STP + A1Websolutions(facial freak) = winning install combination for a top notch script.

Now, I've just gotta learn how to work this thing!

Involved some stress for sure lol...i hate it when a painless STP install gets ruined by fucking ffmpeg problems.

We just announced the availability of a tube style tour 6 days ago so I don't expect anyone to have an opinion just yet. We don't consider Elevated X a "tube script" but a pay site content management solution. The new tube tour feature we're offering our users is an automated tour that gives a pay site the external look and feel of a tube.

You know my door is always open. Feel free to call me anytime. I'll be happy to give you my opinion on the various scripts and/or business models and discuss the pros and cons.

SmartTubePro is one of those. It actually has sponsor database which you can use to fill it with content and then you just setup right banners / links under the videos
