linux x64 local root exploit / privilege escalation

There have been recent local-user Linux kernel exploits (CVE-2010-3081, CVE-2010-3301) made available that affect most 64bit Linux systems, regardless of distribution. These exploits allow untrusted users to gain root-level administrative privileges into the system. This attack is relatively easily executed, which poses a substantial risk to almost all systems.

So make sure you update your kernels asap if you have 64bit linux!
