Digital Camera Question...

I am looking for a reliable digital camera, high resolution, with a remote (since I take a lot of my own pictures), any suggestions for something that is not TOO pricey?

I have sony DSCF707 abd it's damn good for a point and shoot digi... but it's not fulfilling my photo desires. I want a SLR digi.

If you arelooking for a digi video... then a Sony VX2000 is in order. That's all we use at work, and I even have one now. It kicks ass.

I bought one of those a few weeks ago. It's so easy, even I can use it. Best of all the pix turn out great.

I MIGHT be able to squeak out $1000 over the next month or so. I just need it for stills...but I need a remote. Hooking the archaic Kodak DC290 thru the television with the rca cables, setting it on the timer...the fastest it can take a pic is a pic a minute...getting in to position and HOLDING it guessing about how much time I have left before it snaps BITES BUTT! I would MUCH rather be able to hit a remote button!

What do you mean by "high resolution"? If it's just for web use, even a 2 Megapixel camera is overkill.

I shoot and fuck at the same time and recomend the Sony VX 2000 for video, and the Nikon 5000 for stills. Both of these cameras are easy to manuever & hold while fucking the bajesus outta someone or yourself as this site sugests. BTW - You don't want to skimp on cameras at all, here's why: You may want to sell your videos as analog someday & they could be worth MAJOR BUCKS!!! And, if the quality, lighting, etc is low - then you just lost tens of thousands of dollars. I know an agent that would hire you over at Sex Symbols Talent Management www.sstm.net - then you could buy some good equipment with just a few jobs. Trust me on this one, I just lost $$$ because of using a 1 chip camera instead of a 3 chip and someone warned me ahead of time just like I'm warning you. Toodles!

Thanks sweetie, but I have JUST signed on with Adult.com for another project and I do not want to risk a conflict of interest. I REALLY need a good digital still for work I plan on doing with/for them. I am just on a budget right now.

I book with them. Ask them for a referal on me & what you can & cannot shoot and I will custom your bookings around them so that we are not in conflict. I'm guessing that analog video and magazines is not in conflict, but make sure with Joe & Rob. Better yet, have them call me, I've booked half the models on these little pop-ups all over this site and thier others.

On the camera thing - call me and I will get you a pro deal at the local shops because I work closely with magazine photogs - Ron Vogel, Earl Miller, Suze Randal, Clive Mclean, Scott Preston, Hank Londoner, Sal del rey, Adult.com and others. You should be able to get a Nikon cool pix 5000 for $500 used and nobody could complain about the quality of that camera. Toodles!
