Ok, this is not a thread about epass or it problem. Just why I think the movie flop. It got a positive review but I think the screw up is due to this, the movie poster:

Don't they think even those who want to see the movie are too afraid to walk in and out of a studio with that kind of poster? People will stare at them as if they are some pervert.

No wonder it flop - bad marketing. But the DVD sales probably will do better though as people can watch it at home in private.

DVD sales will be good, but Movies like this, you and a buddy are going to watch it, and how many times have you and a buddy gone to the movies, not that many.

Movies are made to take the family out, or spouse or a first date.

Think about it, family of four to see a funny family movie, or one guy to see how some guy became Rich in 1995.

I will buy the DVD when it comes out, It looks like a great film and I'm proud of him for making it.

I'm curious to see how this new Facebook movie does. I think it's not going to that well either and they must be spending 50+ million on advertising because I've been seeing TV ads for the last two months and it's still several weeks from release.

i think that if you started this thread on a non industry message board, you would get alot more people who would agree with you.. but seeing as this board is full of people who are actually in the adult industry... this kind of marketing might not seem so off the wall.
