I won't. Unfortunately some already forgot.

Saw some people on the streets of New York not knowing the year the events happened or approximately how many people died, someone saying "uhm, millions??"...

        That is the truth.

While it was tragic what happened to the USA and I personally will not forgot about it, I also can not condone the flat out murder of so many innocent (key word - innocent) civilians from other countries in the USA's pursuit of a few terrorists. 100s and 100s of 1000s of civilians have been murdered already because of this. All this killing does is breed hate and it WILL come back to the doorsteps of the USA again and again and again. If I had my family killed or my house bombed by someone, I would personally make it my life goal to retaliate ten fold.

I understand it's "war" and I'm not a fan of the middle east to begin with, but too many have died, including too many American troops. IMHO, what has been lost on both sides is not worth the lives we lost on 9-11.

Was trapped in Europe during 9-11 and was treated great by everyone.

Came back home to find I lost more than a dozen friends.

Very quickly this country lost many allies with our misguided actions and we are now more hated world wide than we were on 9-12.

            Thanks GWB.

This reminds me of a joke I heard:

What did the mafia godfather with Alzheimers say?

                  "Fahgeddabout.... what?"

I disagree, it is/was absolutely imperative that we regulate the countries where these terrorists breed. There is far more than a 'few' terorists in the countries involved. We're there to protect ourselves our countries and the lives of the innocent men women and children in these countries too.

In war there will always be the loss of innocence, but out an out terrorism like that of 9/11 cannot be accepted.

RIP to all the innocence lost. We will not forget.

I also never forgot how all the american paddies supported the terrorism in the UK. and yes, i have been caught up in many IRA terror alerts while working in London.

Oh, how american attitudes change when it happens to them.
