What does Visa have to do with ATM networks? They are two entirely different things.

Edit: Oh, never mind, I forgot that with Epass you're technically doing a cash advance through the Visa network.

maybe epass allows a few accounts/cards for 1 person. it would help us a lot.

I never understood why epass doesn't work with both visa and mastercard.
People could choose witch card they want (or both).

Whenever epass is faced with a problem (epass or mastercard) then they still have one in place. As it is today, when they ever loose visa then there is nothing left.

Some time ago they removed (forced by visa?) the option to load your balance with a visa card. Now they are forced to lower the atm limits ...

Yeah, it sucks. My previous limit was $5k per day. This certainly makes the epassporte payment option less desirable for me on larger transactions.

We have to follow Visa's rules for Visa Electron cards and that is why we have to do this.

We allow multiple accounts.

We offer 2 other withdrawal options via wire transfer for a $50 fee or to a credit/debit card in your name for 1% fee with a minimum of $5

That is standard fee for wire almost anywhere,including ccbill which charges same for wire(unless you are in usa then it cost 25$)

You DO have the option to WIRE the loot to your bank account. It may take a couple of days, but if you are doing big budget deals, you should be able to manage your money for a few day I would think?

I agree with you. I prefer bank wire. But for those chappies overseas, they seem to prefer EPASS over other methods. I guess for a lot of them, that is the main way they are paid. Versus check, wire, whatever.

Considering the new U.S. tax law that went into effect this year for electronic money transfers (Paypal, EPass, etc.) type of transactions. They are supposed to start sending you a 1099 at the end of the year. My CPA told me about it.

Anyway, EPASS is a U.S. based company like PP, so my guess is they would fall under the same law in that regard. The whole 'money laundering' reference will be a thing of the past once you start getting your 1099 on money received.

At least if you are in the U.S. that is.

you're a fucking idiot if you don't claim the money you have coming through epass. if the account is connected to you in any way, its only a matter of time before you are fucked. i know a number of people who have been already in the US and Canada.
