Amazon.com Sucks

I ordered digital camera yesterday April 15th and its taking them till June to deliver it!!! Worst part is that it said on the description on the website for the past 3 weeks that the product will be in stock on April 15th then i checked website today it changed to "in stock soon "....... WTF ? Takes almost 2 months to get a product in.

Were you ordering the new Panasonic 3 ccd camcorder I was thinking about buying and it was going to be avail on the 15 th. There are much better places to buy it than Amazon.

I don't order anything besides books and movies from amazon anymore, they screw up/ship my orders too late anymore.

Stuff like that I honestly try to go and buy from a local store, buying expensive digital equipment scares me because of the fucking stupid delivery men who throw shit all over the place.

Amazon used to be good now they suck, I remember when they would do cool things like upgrade your shipping just for being a customer. Now I ordered something two day air and it took a week to get to me.

Yeah Forsure, they have script errors everywhere, and they don't ship alot of their merchandise out of the States.

customs is taking a lot of time lately as well, inordinately long for a small parcel to make it through from japan last week, and that was sent overnight..

BTW webgurl you can cancell that order (if its not shipped) and go shop for that camera somewhere else.

Never yet had a problem with them and order quite a bit from them.

Mind you, the delay thing is probably totally the supplier letting them down. I spent a lot of years high up in a company that made electronic/electrical equipment and deadlines to customers were always being moved sometimes by months. Sometimes it lost us a contract but very, very rarely. Seems to be simply normal practice in that industry.
