Does this Script / WP Theme exist?

What I want to do, is to DISPLAY youtube videos in a pleasing format. I dont need it to scrape youtube on my behalf, and I dont want it to be an actual tube itself... I dont need people to be able to upload videos.

This isn't an adult project, (per say) and I only want it to display youtube vids that are already online. I ideally would like to just go into an admin area, paste the youtube embed code, and a couple of keywords, then have it added into the mix, & displayed in a nice format, searchable by a visitor.

I was hoping to go WP with a theme on this project, if only because it makes nice code, and is fairly easy to use. I also wanted the ability to have a static page on entry to display certain stuff of my own (Not from youtube) but then the continuation onwards into the site, to be 100% youtube vids being displayed.

I have looked at hotscripts, and at wordpress.org itself, but I cant seem to see what it is I'm after... So any ideas about how I could achieve this?

Yeah, thats pretty much it... Im visualising the main pages having say a grid of three vid thumbs displayed across, and say 12 rows or so in a grid, and when they click, it takes them to a sep page displaying the vid with some text.

I dont need comments available or anything... I'm really just looking to use use the google juice of having all these diff vids, all on the same subject, all on the same site, to entice people interested in the subject to find the site, and see my main front page... My main front page would have stuff f a similar nature ad subject to the rest of the vids, but my stuff will be chargeable.

I have the ability to sell my stuff already, but Im looking for a new avenue / outlet to sell it from

Like I say, its not porn, so thats why using the wealth of similar vids already on youtube, but all in one single place, is ideal.

So you think custom is the only way to go? I already have a small budget set by for a 'FatFoo' type grunt worker to add the embed codes and a few words of description etc...

Ask JD (monstersofblog dot com) if he can do something for the price you want. It might not be exclusive though if you can't spend much... but he does great WP themes.

I actually looked at your site before I posted - It was Number 1 in google when I searched!

However what put me off, and prompted this post for suggestions was that on your site you say...

HOW TO ADD THUMBS:
This is still just wordpress. It can not generate thumbs by itself. You need to either make a thumb an upload it to your server or hotlink to a thumb from sponsor or other site.
Here is what to do:
1. upload a thumb
2. go to custom fields below your post area (below of where you write post text).
3. create new custom field called ?thumb? (without ??)
4. in value field put in url to thumb you uploaded or to thumb your sponsor or other site is hosting
5. click add custom field

However the one I'm going with, as posted above, generates the thumbs itself... It even generates random thumbs, so it doesn't always look the same...
