I don't know what an affiliate could DO - since I don't play that part of "the game" - but do affiliates just get FUCKED and there's nothing that can be done about it? I don't mean going legal etc - I mean doing some Black Hat "I'm gonna fuck up your shit" kinda stuff.

IF I was getting fucked like ppl on here obviously are I'd try to do something in revenge.
The most I would be likely to do is to leave their content up and use it to promote someone else. My reasoning would be that by not paying me I'm getting my money back. Sue me. If it were real bad I might find the owners and begin posting their information along with how they ripped people off on sites like ripoffreport.com. If I were really pissed and sufficient money were involved I would go legal but you aren't interested in that. I wouldn't do something like this in a case where they genuinely cannot pay, but more for when they do something like shut down the program and keep my rebills while basically telling me "Fuck you!"

A lot of people *could* do Black Hat type stuff but those who actually would aren't going to talk about it. They'll just do it. I wouldn't. There are other ways that more effective in my opinion. I'd rather fix it so that the owner cannot start another program again or so that when people in their town Google their name they see what a fraud they are. Far more effective than making them lose their SEO or forcing them to restore a server from backups. Not to mention it's a bit more civilized.

yeah i'm surprised people don't post site rips of the programs that ripped then off on pornbb or something. use hotfile and make a few bucks off it.

Thank you for the response. And I'm not advocating doing shady things to fuck people. LOL Your ideas are indeed much more civilized.

Yeah often the urge for lash out can consume affiliates. In reality there is little you can do except keep the memory alive and warn others when these scumbags try to get back into business.

I have seen affilaites consumed with hatred which ruled their working days, and instead of building or changing sponsors they just put all their efforts into attacking the sponsor program that dissed them, with little or no effect. Infact many of those affiliates are no longer around because they just self destructed.

live by the sword you die by the sword. This goes for both affiliates and programs.

You pay $50 pps to affiliates on free or $1 trials all the time you are asking for trouble.
You send all your traffic to the programs that pay you the highest pps amount you are asking for trouble.

Everybody loves those big pps checks, just don't come on her moaning when the gravy train takes a break in the station and your left out in the cold....
