Looking for some advice on CC processors. Would prefer low to no upfront costs; I'm trying to break in to the biz with a new idea and am bootstrapping everything. I do not need subscription billing; one-time payments only.

I'm sorry, you asked for a cc processor with no up front fees that will allow you to break into the business with your new idea.

You have 1 option. Zombaio.

CCbill, Epoch, Netbilling, Paysquare, Verotel, etc etc they all require you to fork up some cash, and charge much higher rates. Zombaio pays your fees for you and doesn't have starting quotas, nor does it charge excessive percentages.
