Not used one for ages but I seem to remember using MemTest or MemTest86, one runs in windows and the other is a bootable iso.

Alternatively if you have an Ubuntu Live cd lying around that has a memory test in the startup menu.

when i turn on my pc, it beeps 3 or 4 times, then boots up fine, before the windows splash screen it beeps a couple more times, not sure what the error is, since it completes the post, i dont think its faulty.
