    Possible Spyware?

    Can anyone help. . .
    I use firefox, just every so often i get a pop up, which has the internet explorer toolbar on it, my wave level, in audio gets closed off and also these audio messages play when the wave volume is turned up, my spy and virus scanners arent finding anything though. . . any ideas?

    Are you on a certain web page(s) when this happens? You might be getting some kind of iframe injection from an infected webpage. With an iframe the bastards can turn it on and off at will.

      nope, no paticular webpage, seems its on my laptop, on the processes list theres 3-4 iexplorer.exe opened, even though firefox is my default and all i use!

        Download Malwarebytes and scan your computer. If anything is wrong it should find it.

          That sounds suspect. Download Malwarebytes (the free version) and run a scan.

              ive used every major scanner possible and none of them detected anything yet i still have 3-4 iexplore.exe running and keep loseing my volume. . .
