If you want to go with Wordpress then this one is really good. Has a whole interface with PayPal or a number of other processors. I have used it for a few clients and they love it.
For something quick and easy, Opencart is really nice.
Magento is the best at the moment, but for most people it's TOTAL OVERKILL.
If you just have a few products and want something that's easy to skin...check out Opencart.
If you want to buy a bunch of books, hire someone to skin your site and spend hours getting up to speed getting your site running with a powerful backend that has pretty much everything you need and then some...check out Magento.

I installed OsCommerce it is a pain in the fucking ass! Going to try out OpenCart now. This is for a client on a shoe string budget, just a small gift store (helping a friend out here)
The OsCommerce default theme is ugly and is a pain in the ass to mod and he doesn't want to spend another 200+ for a design.
Opencarts default looks much better, lets see if its easier to play around with.

You can go to Template Monster and get an osCommerce template for about $100 bucks I think.

Shoe String Budgets = 99.9% of our mainstream clients.
There are some really nice OpenCart templates available too.
