    WordPress 3.0

My blogs are telling me that the upgrade is available and that I should do it.

Is it safe to upgrade to WP 3.0 ? Any plugins compatibility problems possible?

I've been playing with it on one of my test domains, but... A friend of mine installed it and bam, shut down the blog and worse shut down access to the wordpress log in page. I tried everything to fix it, from remotely shutting down plugins to re-installing Wordpress, notta. Turns out with 3.0 and an updated version of one of the plugs we needed php5 for it all to play nicely. It was a lot of work to unfuck and I have yet to see any real differences, although I really haven't played around with it too much.

The CyberSyn and CyberSEO Suite plugins are compatible with all all versions of WordPress including 3.xx. Anything else doesn't matter ;)

I would install a local copy before you upgrade to 3.0, and test the plugins, since not all plugins will work.
