    Script for ad network

What is the best script to run an ad network similar to Adbrite? I don?t have time for a custom script so I need something readymade. Any recommendations?

I was thinking of writing one and starting a business like adbrite, wouldn't be hard. I know LAMP more than the back of my own hand, there isn't anything I couldn't write.

I don't really want to compete with Adbrite myself This is just for a private ad network but I still need something good. You are probably right. If you know what you are doing you can write a great script. I just don?t have time to wait right now.

OpenX is great but it is more suitable if you want to sell ads on your own site. It?s not really suitable for an ad network where advertisers and publishers can ?meet?.

Usually people use OpenX in a severely limited fashion by making themselves the only publisher, but I think it's intended to do exactly what you want.

You might be right! I have used OpenX before but I didn't really consider it for what I need now. I?ll have to take a better look...

If anyone have any other suggestions for any other scripts please let me know?

You must be too old school, remembering phpAdsNew ;). Long way that product has come.

Correct. I ran into that same issue of limitations.

Plus it is not the most user friendly.
