I am an experienced bulk sender, but this is my first time trying email...

I was wondering what do you guys do to minimize the number of complaints, I cant afford to get shut down by my isp...

send-safe is supposedly anonymous, but my friend said he got reported within a week of using it

Send safe isn't 100% anonymous. Just is generally anonymous the to end surfer. If someone takes a few minutes, then it isn't.
Basically, it goes, uses other people's open proxies that are misconfigured to also hit sendmail ports. It then uses that, so the end user sees the proxy as the sender. But the proxy has full logs of you using it, so boom, not anonymous. You are stealing other people's resources to spam. Easy way for a civil suit or even jail for blasting someone's proxy hard (DoS attacks are a federal crime in the US and most countries). Someone who is getting their bandwidth maxed by you sending spam through them is definitely going to report you. You don't know for sure that you aren't hitting a 100Kbps connection with your cable modem

you'll gonna abuse others servers and you won't get complaints? Admins do have log files and they will report your activity to your isp. Your IP will be recorded in their log files. That's how your friend got shut down.

Here's the answer: you don't send bulk email to people who didn't ask for it and you don't steal other people's resources to do it. Jackass.
