CRAP!!!! 4 solid days WITHOUT AN INTERNET CONNECTION!

On Monday I called my ISP to ask them to up my speed and the geniuses that run the place apparently don't know how to do that, and instead left me without a connection while they figure it out!

I've called everyone I can think of, spoken to reps, supervisors and managers, and nobody can give me an accurate answer or even an estimated time. This is ridiculous!!!!!!!

I'm working at Starbucks from my mini-Dell, but it's a pain in the neck, because the screen is so small and I have to make sure nobody can see what's on my screen. This bl*ws!!!!!

Thats why I made sure I got unlimited data on my verizon storm 2. Throw in pdanet plus a usb cord and I am online at least fast enough to get some work done as long as its not any extensive uploading and downloading, and am sure to be in contact with everyone that way. Think I pay 160 a month or something for that, plus around 160 for cable / internet. So costs quite a bit to ensure 100% connection these days unless you have many neighbors with open wifi and different isps lol.

Oh man, ISP woes. Brighthouse has to be the worst ISP on Earth.

My no-name router that they won't work on because it's not a white one from them (THEY gave me this black one! And fucking charged me for it!) stops working all the time and I have to wait 5-7 days for a guy to come out and type a few things in to put it online again.

And now this BRAND NEW 1 week old ethernet cable I bought has suddenly stopped working, I still blame them somehow. I'm sure they sent some kind of fucked up signal and it fried the internals on the cable. It's a stretch I know, but they're the devil!

One time I was exactly a month late on my bill by accident, I thought I had already paid it, they cut all my house phone, cable TV, and Internet offline and couldn't get it hooked back up for a week AND had to give me a new phone number. Beyond fucking ridiculous.

I have a 2GB data plan which hardly gets used, but if need be I can tether my laptop and surf away. I've got an unused solar panel so if things got really bad I could probably power the laptop off that too.

I'd never go a day without my Clear 4g/3g card. I was at a conference all day Thursday--very boring, though I did win an Intel i7--and got between 6-6.5mbit all day.

I have such weeks. Usually when I'm outside of city getting drunk like a dog. After 3-5 days of competition, I return home and once again learn to read, try to recall what my name was :D
