Why is this any different than laughing at "FAIL" pics of botched robberies? They do it for money too.
The Difference:
If you are a U.S. Citizen with full U.S. Citizen rights and opportunities and you resort to robbing a 7/11, you have effectively squandered your citizenship and everything the U.S. affords you. You deserve to be mocked for your stupidity. There are an untold number of people in this world that would gladly cut off their own leg to have those opportunities.
The people in these photos have nothing. No U.S. Citizenship rights, no U.S. opportunities (legal ones), and no future other than abject poverty and starvation or if they're lucky, a chance to "go for it". When you're willing to stuff yourself into an engine compartment and risk death with nothing more than the clothes on your back, it's about survival, not scoring another dose of crack. They haven't squandered their citizenship and opportunities or taken everything we have for granted, because they never had it. They probably would make better "citizens" than many of our legal citizens.
One is a U.S. Citizen that doesn't want to work, and is making our country a "shit hole". (and you are paying to house and feed him now for as long as his sentence is).
The other is a Non-U.S. Citizen that wants to work and died trying.

Robberies involve someone taking property by force - usually with a weapon like a knife or a gun. They terrorize their victims into giving up their property, or risk being injured or killed.
Illegal immigrants get jobs because they work for less, and many times harder, than their legal counterparts.
You laugh at botched robberies because most people can tell the difference between a violent criminal, and someone trying to feed themselves.

So because this guy did not use force we should feel sorry for him and not laugh at this video?

You are fucking moron. In the first few seconds of the video it says it is a Construction Office.
Hey yeah you're right. I thought it was the video where that black dude comes down from the ceiling into a booze store and can't get back out. Didn't bother watching the video
Point still stands, though. Stealing directly from a company, or an individual, by using force (it's called breaking and entering) is a much bigger offense that "stealing" jobs.
It's called empathy. Whether or not you're against or "for" illegal immigration, most people can understand *why* it's happening, and aren't silly enough to compare it to armed robbery or breaking and entering.

Are illegal immigrants not themselves trying to BREAK INTO A COUNTRY?

How can anyone be FOR illegal immigration? That's insanity. I'm all for reforming our immigration laws so people do not have to stitch themselves into car seats to sneak into the US, but I am not supportive of illegal immigration. I also reserve the right to laugh at ANYONE that stitches themselves into a car seat regardless of their race, country of origin or ethnicity.

It is very sad to see the extent of peoples' desperation in Mexico. Having said that.......... the US is under no obligation to destroy their country in order to help poor Mexicans.
