I wheel it out every once in a while and use it inside a virtual machine. Still have some old software that only runs on XP. But Vista is not that bad if you have 64 bit processors.

BTW the other laptop came with windows Vista installed... I formatted the disk and installed XP... saved me lots of headaches...

I have linux mint on my other machine. If only I can run photoshop, flash, dreamweaver, and smart ftp, on that OS, I definitely stick to linux.

As long as they keep putting out new updates, I'll use it. I would have to build a completely new machine if I wanted to update anyway and that's LAST on my to-do list lol.

Windows 7 is amazing, after installing it i will never look back, i had XP for years but after making the switch it isnt even close.

the layout is so similar but so much smarter. i never had a drag in finding new things as if you are switching to a mac.

trust me it is worth trying. if you love XP you will love windows 7 twice as much.

My main computer is XP; I have no plans to upgrade. My new touchscreen computer is Win7, but whatever. An OS is an OS. If you spend too much time worrying about your OS your wasting your time.
