Testing Conversions

How much traffic do you recommend you get to test whether an offer is converting or not?

I've used adwords & some traffic brokers - adwords seems to be "real" people, but the costs can get high. That said, I want to make sure I'm doing enough adwords volume to see which offers work or which are best. Traffic brokers seems to sell a lot of crap traffic so not sure if you can test with that.

Any advice is appreciated.

I havent bought from brokers since I signed up with PlugRush, now I buy traffic from them instead, real webmaster traffic...ofc I try to fit my niches but lately even general porn traffic has converted ok for me..check sig if u wanna try it out man!

People will say higher but 10k of traffic should give you a good idea.

10k from a broker is enough. From adwords there is no answer. You really need to track conversions and costs per keyword. you can pay 50 cents a click from a specific keyword and get 1:1000 conversions then buy a different keyword for 10 cents a click and get 1:10 conversions. I would guesstimate that 100 clicks from a specific keyword would give you some sorta results, but then again 1000 from a specific keyword is better. Adwords I would buy 1000 clicks from every keyword before guaging it's performance.

Ok - but if the 10k is from a broker that has shit traffic, it's prob'ly not a good test. So that's a factor too.

So you think 1000 from adwords - that sounds like a good gauge.
