The cable tends to vary based on when the kids are around in neighborhood. Taking a hit around 3 in the afternoon until around 11P. It's not a big hit like it used to be, but it's still noticeable.

When we went from US to UK we noticed a big drop in speed, but it was acceptable, then we headed over to South Africa....fuck it is like the arc ages pre 2000, I did the speed test today again for a laugh after seeing this post, just to see if it has improved....LOL....it said to upload a WMV video of 800MB would take 31 minutes....fuck I did an upload straight afterwards of 164MB and it took 136 minutes.....not even close to what they say....but then this whole country is so corrupt and they say stuff expecting everyone to believe them....if it is said here in SA by any official or person in any form of power that it is sunny outside, you have to check to make sure they are telling the truth....it is going to be fun watching all these reporters etc for the world cup thinking internet upload is super fast here and then receiving reality of super shitty upload speed, they have been told that the isp connections are comparative to the US and Europe.....Not sure in whose eyes that is....LOL....Most officials probably could not even spell the words Europe or the United States of America....We are not here for much longer now and I can't wait to be back home to civilization and get proper internet speed, I would have to say that is something I have truely missed.....

Maybe your right as I usually test about 10pm or midnightish. Today was about midday, like you said, when the schools are open.

I dont actually need a 50mb line, I needed the 1.5mb upload due to webcam. I was going to change to another line the otherday & found out that most bt lines only run up to 2mb. Virgin media seems to be the only one possible for high bandwidth in the UK
