Flash is by far the most misused and annoying invention ever.
It's not like we can't watch YouTube. There's an app for that.
It's not like we can't play games. There thousands of apps or that.
It's not like we can't look at porn. There's thousands of sites for that.

I love my iphone and today I got my ipad as well.

Flash is so 2008 and full of issues that apple just don't want to mess their top product with it. I really don't care for the sites that have flash and I can't watch them. Most of them will be using other options soon. To many apple users that you can miss, just because someone sticks with some bogus technology. And apple users usually have the money to spend. Apple toys are not cheap . So basically you get a huge population with money

One thing that becomes very clear here is that we are still in this long debate of preferable video codecs. Will there ever be a uniform video format that we all use or that is cross compatible between all devices and players? This debate had been going on for a long time even before Flash entered the scene and now that Flash has gained 75% of the market, we are still in a debate over preferred formats. So, here we are many years into this arena and MS is still pushing WM and Silverlight, Apple is sold on their QuickTime and the world is using Flash. Thinking of this is wearing me out, I need a nap, lol.

This is the real issue. Safari is an insecure piece of junk and they realize people are hacking it much more frequently. Removing flash protects them from their own insecurities but it will not help them in the long run.

It's just funny...I will admit that in both computers and handhelds, Apple has had the initial jump in quality over competitors. But over time that quality becomes even, and Apple fanboys can't handle that when everyone else starts getting the same functionality they have if not more for a fraction of the price. I bet before the iPhone, not a single one of you were dogging Flash, and now it's the "most misused and annoying invention ever" simply because it gives Apple fits?
