Dating Scripts?

I'm looking for your experiences with dating scripts. I know of many scripts, ranging from cheap to really expensive, but I'd like to hear some input on which ones are good and which to avoid

yeah, we're thinking on writing it ourselves or modify some existing one, but it would take some time, so 'off the shelf' options would be great. But seeing the amount of answers in this thread, guess we should start coding right now

Depends what your goals are.

Short-term, fake, turn and burn site; you can use many of the available scripts.

Long-term or actual community site - go custom.

I have had some success with Dolphin, would be really nice if someone could integrate it into nats for me. Right now I am using amember pro for affiliate tracking and billing, support for both these things is practically non-existent in Dolphin. Otherwise its a great script for a community site and you can disable some of the bells and whistles to boil it down to a more basic dating thing.

I was told to be very wary of it, it seems they scrap all your content and profiles

no, Dolphin, we use amember and so far no problems

Since you use amember, how do you get affiliate payment reports? The only ones I see are monthly.
