I contacted them yesterday for a status update and asking for the balance in our account with them to be wired back into our checking account and was told.

"unfortunately your funds are still being held by the DOJ"

Whilst it is not a huge amount of money of our that is frozen it has caused hours of additional hours in re issuing checks and going back to issuing check / epassorte in-house again is something I was hoping to move away from...

I would guess the DOJ froze the account due to a pending investigation/grand jury indictment that's probably on its way to be handed down.

I'm sure WMC's attorneys advised they to keep their mouths shut because anything they can say could catch them an obstruction of justice charge

because legal issues shouldn't be talked about on a forum. who knows what their going through it might be public record. i just looked it up it's there but no minutes. anyone in az can go view it i think if the case is finished.

I don't care that they don't keep GFY updated, but I find it odd they are not updating most, if not all, of their clients by email or phone.

Most often the people screaming for public statements have no direct involvement in the case.

If they have your money, contact them direct. If they don't respond contact the DOJ.

I don't think it's that complicated.
