    Exit traffic Vs Popup killers.

If I buy 100,000 hits and only 10,000 ever gets to my site because of surfers using popup killers, does the broker still owe me 90,000 hits?

yes 90k of hitbot sounds about right

Seriously depends on who's counter you're looking at. Your traffic source probably counts the clicks b4 the page loads and your doesn't. sorry

If the surfer use a popupkiller, then the exitscript will never count the surfer as a exit, becouse the script only works then the surfers browser popup the the exit, witch is not do then the popup killer blocks for the hahahahahahahahahaha.

If I follow you correctly, then there shouldn't be a great discrepancy between my stats and the exit broker' stats because technically he shouldn't be counting hits that are killed by popupkillers?

I brought 100k yesterday - so far my traffic provider says I got 10k hits but my php script (local counter) says I have gotten about 1200 hits.

My site is very fast that I am using for the exit traffic. It loads in less than 3 seconds on 128k and above connection speed. I really have to wonder about if pop-up killers aren't eating my traffic.

Since the exit provider uses the a remote j@v@scr|pt to count the user as a visit when they put down the exit script. So I don't think I'm getting a true count. I think I am getting how many people pull the j@v@scr|pt, not acutally open a pop-up window.

Popups suck. Presumably, it isn't that hard to figure out that popup traffic sucks as well. You knew what you were buying, and it was worth what you paid for it.

Normaly your tradescript should show around 80% of the exit.
Some exit will allways show up as bookmarks and some with reff from the sites sending to the exitscript.
Off couse if you use a sextracker or other counters, not places on your server, you can't trust the counter.

                    Alex,

Something sounds wrong. How are you counting the surfers to your page? I assume you are using a server level counter, and not a third party counter. Server counters are the *only* stats to use, IMHO.

I agree with Sexzity; we usually see a "delivery" rate (ie. the rate of surfers that will actually see your exit console) of between 60% and 80%. The load speed of your page is certainly a determining factor, as is the "attractiveness" of your console page. You have to grab the surfer's attention quickly, before they close the page.

And Alex, if you want to buy some traffic from us, let me know. I think we've done business in the past?

So if I buy 100,000 exits, I should expect to see a minimum of 60,000 hits counted on my side! Then each $3.00/1,000 I spend on an exit truely represent $5.00 /1,000 on my side and if I get a productivity of 40%, this $3.00 traffic actually cost me $12.50/1,000!
