If youre into them, yes they put on a pretty good show. I personally am not into them. I am not into any of those default/nickelback/creed/theory of a nickelfault bands.. crap sorry i get them all mixed up because they all sound exactly the same! lol

Though I will listen to Pearl Jam. Maybe because they were the original band with that sound (I believe anyhow)

I grew up just a couple hours down the road from where he grew up. I've known some of his family and friends. Used to play football againsthis school's team too. A LOT of people who know him personally consider him a douchebag...

I saw them live in MA with Staind and Daughtry. The show was actually a pretty good show. I think Daughtry stole the night but Nickelback does put on a good show in person.

Chad Kroeger isn't that bad of a guy. He lives a street over from us and goes running every so often and is friendly enough. I'm not a starstruck kind of person though, so I think that plays a part into it as well. My 6 year old son on the other hand had a shit fit when he came over and saw us talking. Chad was cool about it too and talked with him, and I'm sure made my son's day. It's not everyday a "rockstar" stops and talks about playing the guitar with your son.

BTW - I'm not a Nickelback "fan". I've seen them in concert (my wife won tickets in a draw or something) and they put on a pretty good show. It's loud and there is lots of fire, which is what a rock concert should be.

I am not really a Nickelback fan...but a friend of mine had some tickets...so we went. It was a great show! They are one of the few bands these days that sound live the same way they do on the radio. I would definitely go again....
