    Mcafee secure logo

I'm running some shops and have been approached by McAfee if I'd be interested in having their "secure site" logo on my sites. www.mcafeesecure.com

Pricing isn't all that cheap, but I can see it motivating people to trust the website.

My only is that they don't have pricing up their site, if you want to know pricing, you need to call and they will give you "a special offer" but I cannot see if this is really a special offer.

Their price range they offered me per annum:
    $3430 for 25K pageviews per month/ 7 domains
    $7317 for 75K pageviews per month/ 7 domains

I'm looking to compare with others if anyone uses it at all, or maybe someone can call them for a pricing quote to compare, and also looking for feedback on your views having such a logo on an adult ecommerce site.

My opinion personally is that anybody who is going to feel extra protected by the McAfee Secure little badge will feel equally well protected by a similar php image with a shield and today's date on and a link to a site you have set up with some random security waffle on.

On that external site you could also attempt to sell people an anti-virus program.

sometimes thinking simple isn't that bad at all considering the pricing involved.
It's something I'll consider for sure!
