I saw something about this a while back. Now im thinking...its dangerous for me to think i know but...anyone remember the thread/post? Have any clue to what im refering too, please post it here, ill check when i get back from subway...thx

ive done this, where you have a landing page with a form, then it searches your posts, ive done it using youtube api, and other apis as well, as well as just your normal site, say you have 1000 posts with videos, it would display them based on that.

thats a theme, think he means more of like askjolene style with a form and searches all the posts.

But I know one very powerful script that can do that, it's... it's a monster masterpiece of script. I'm currently trying to figure it out cuz it's a bit complicated..

this is a theme you can use to turn wordpress into a search engine. It creates a domain parked style landing page , with a search and some ads, and post results...

The design sucks, but you can customize it yourself for something better
