Hey, I just got my wireless network a few days ago and its been going good, but for the past hour, a little box keeps popping up saying "Network cable unplugged" then whatever I'm doing, lags until that box goes away. I havent messed with anything, the router is close to the computer so its getting signal, what could it be?

Ebus is right.
Possibles
+Someone is walking near your network. The water in a persons body can affect your signal (I know i sounds like bull).
+You have your network speed set to 11mps instead of auto. Could be disconnecting you.
+If you're using consumer grade wireless, you may need to update the drivers.Comment

Im assuming you're using some sort of MS Win derivative. Go to the properties for the wireless device under Windows networking.Originally posted by xerox

If you still cant find it; tell me what version of Windows you have. And the type/brand of wireless device you're using.Comment
