If we accept we are at war with terrorism,
courts are no place to win that war. The rule of law doesnt apply when you are in the state of war.When you are fighting an enemy and you see their tanks, you do everything you can to blow them up. You dont stop to collect evidence to see if there was criminal intent. You do not stop, to collect
evidence needed to win a trial in court of law.Imagine stoping Hitler's armies through
the courts. It couldnt have been done. The enemy is not worrying about rules. If we treat this war with terrorism as a legal
exercise we will lose it for sure.We will spend our resources trying to gather evidence for the last attack, while the enemy
is preparing the next one.
In most recent attack "only" 5 000 people died, but when these groups get nuclear and biological warfare, entire cities will die.
And they shown death means nothing to them.
We are fighting for our lives, and must do everything in our power to win. The courts are powerless against this enemy. Only the most severe and sustained military action will end this the way we need it to end.
There is NO negotiating with islamic militants. We either destroy them, or wait
until they kill more of us.
They know west has huge military power, but they think we dont have a stomach to use it.

Let's be happy that the officers and such are still alive that faced and fought the enemies that really fought to win. Another 10 years down the road and we'd be in a real mess.

Desert Storm was a war true but not against an enemy that put every bit of their heart in to killing our soldiers no matter the cost to themselves.

We are in for a new style of World War that is going to stretch out for years, not months or days. We will be counter-attacked right in our own yards as well. It won't be in some far off land that we only see on a screen.

Plan ahead for the worst and be happy if it doesn't happen in your neighborhoods. Its not going to be pretty let alone quick if they do what they say they are setting up for. And if they don't follow thru then we will be attacked even more after we stop short.

I'm fairly certain there are still terrorists among us. Reason would suggest that there must be more than the 15 or 20 that died with the planes.

If terrorists were to decide to finally employ the use of chemical or worse, biological warfare weapons, at locations throughout the US... we're all fucked.

There's virtually no defense. You wouldn't even know we were being attacked until people began to drop dead in the streets.

What makes this horror even more frightening is the fact that biological warfare weapons can be made and mass produced in someone's basement extremely cheaply. Anthrax spores can be produced at a cost of about $50 per kilogram.

Considering that the lethal amount of anthrax is one billionth of a gram (the size of a speck of dust), one kilogram could potentially infect hundreds of thousands of people.

Biological anthrax is deadly in 80% to 90% of all cases, with treatment being highly unlikely.

Anthrax would most likely be spread in its most deadly form, aerosol, by using low technology delivery systems such as crop duster airplanes, helicopters, simple garden pump sprayers and even purse sized perfume atomizers. Essentially, the only thing that's different between a crop duster and an anthrax delivery system is what is in the spray tanks.

This is merely ONE threat. There are many more nerve agents, chemical agents, and biological weapons that are oh so easy to aquire.

Think crashing our own planes into us was bad? If they use biologicals... it's all over.

That works both ways Not pointing any fingers. Let's hope there are some very wise people in the White House because it's probably gonna take a lot more brains to end a war than what it takes to start one. And, really, one could argue that this war has been going on for some time. Same players, different places.
