Hosting Recommendations

Hey guys. I have a question. I have a client who wants the Nubiles Tube Script and Trade pulse installed for a website. He wants a hosting account that will be able to handle the load of 10k visits per day, and I think he will only be hosting this one website on the account.

From the guys who have more experience in who is the best host for the money and needs, what would be the best hosting account for the client to purchase?

No question about it mate, www.techiemedia.com is by far one of the absolute best hosts in the biz. You get the Best Network, Data Centers, and very aggressive pricing but best of all their support is 2nd to none. I moved to them a few years back after posting here on gfy and all I can say is it was the best move I have ever made. Very stable, no downtimes, and overall a great bunch of people to be working with.

I would recommend that he start with a dedicated server. My minimum recommended specification would be a dual core Xeon with 4 gigabytes of RAM and two drives to his size requirements in a RAID 1 (mirroring). If he chose us, I wouldn't put him in less than a quad core Xeon with 8 gigabytes of RAM to avoid fiddling around with the server as traffic grows.

I don't think any host is able to handle the load of 10k visits per day, he will need to use 2-3 tophosts and use multiple servers.

I have a 10k tube hosted at Naked Hosting and love it. The site originally started on Nubiles but I converted to Tube Ace for more flexibility. I also use Trade Pulse for the trades. So if you're looking for someone with that traffic that has used those scripts successfully, that's me and I'm very happy with Naked Hosting. Talk to Kacy or Tonda and they'll get your client setup quickly. On the rare occasion that I have a tech problem, support is always right on top of it!
