Thoughts on EOS 7D

Is this a potential replacement to let's say a HMC150? How is the audio on the 7d? XLR inputs available or will it need an XLR adapter?

Anyone have some samples of content done with the 7d?

The 7D? Not at all. I have already purchased an HMC150 back in September. But I am looking to lighten the load on a new project that will require travel by foot and it was mentioned the 7d does incredibly well with video.

The audio on the 7D is terrible, and it does not have XLR inputs. You can take a look at pics of them online, you know ;)

Thanks for the reply. That helps. We were hoping to get buy on just getting a 7d to handle both the stills and video on this project but doesn't seem like its worth the hassle. Appreciate the response.
