    Ancestry.com

    Anyone else a member of this site? I've been able to go as far back as the 1600s. Some lines are almost impossible to trace, other are very easy.

      I've been thinking of joining in 2010. My grandfather (Tracy) abandoned my dad and his brother when they were 5. My dad was adopted thereafter so my name is different. I would like to know where I came from now that I know where I'm going.

      Just interested in knowing I guess.

      I'm doing a standup comedy gig tonight for a bunch of drunks so I'll probably have a couple VO/sodas and get smashed. My black golfing friend is going along and he is a 1 beer man so I got my safe driver (pun) for the night.

                                          You can go to the library and find books to follow up family history. Good luck with it if your finding it works for you though!

                                              Libraries are very limited, if they have anything at all. But I'm not here to get advice.
