I remember doing the classic "hello world" in basic. We quickly moved away from basic into cobal, pascal then C++... By the time we did visual C++ in university I was totally over programming and never wanted to see a line of code again...

I loved it when I got it. At least it worked with "Basic". Our school was part of a project and we had a Wang machine



which worked with Basic as well.

So I was pretty proud when I got my Commodore.

We went to stores and fed the Commodores there with a loop and then looked at the salesclerks how they tried to stop it.
