WP gurus, please help

Heya,

I am going crazy soon, please save me:

1) Daiko's Text Widget-> for some reason I can't use more than ONE of it on a few of my blogs. I have no clue why one blog is OK with it while the other wont show more even f i set to show 9, there's only one appearing between the 'available widgets'. I checked the original widget site, other ppl mention the same issue, and no answer from creators or other users..

2) Yes, this is lame, but: why the fuck do i see 'BLOGROLL' on my blog when i changed the link category's name ages ago? I tried everything here as well, see no difference between those which work properly and the buggy ones...

I suspect both these issues originated from permission issues, but as I am not an expert, I can't tell if its OK or wrong. They Should be OK as the first thing I do with a new blog is to set proper permalinks, and I always notice if it has problems.

HEEEEEEEEEEELP!!! PLEASE!

Ummm...Are you using anything to cache pages?

If so, clear your cache.

I'm definitely not a WP guru, but:

Possibly the theme is a little wacky and you might need to manually edit the sidebar.php to change the display of the blogroll heading.

Or, you can copy your links into a text widget and not even use the 'Links' widget.

Thank You All for the bumps and ideas.
It seems that the 'blogroll' issue is originated from the template, and I already contacted BlogBlowout about it.
The Daiko's Text Widget: Maybe i can replace with another widget that can handle php... i use it for my Links Organizer script plus for adding dating/webcam ads normally...

Daiko's Issue resolved: was a theme related problem


Bottom line: dont be cheap, go for excellent semi exclusive paid themes. like the ones BlogBlowout.com is offering.

Now its 22:23 time to get high after a tough weekend.

the themes on blogblowout all look the same, and have that cheesy cartoon headers

WordPress themes are so easy to hack up to suit your needs. All the documentation are easy to follow.

Daiko's Text widget doesn't work properly on the latest WP version. Use Advanced Text Widget instead.

Try using widgetize-anything plugin for adding your LO snippets into the dynamic sidebar instead.

try giving ctrl+f5, maybe its a cache problem!
