I need a program to edit MP3s

I need a program that can cut MP3s into 2 or more pieces; cut out a 10 second part; join mutiple MP3s together, etc. Preferably if it's a free program. Anyone know where I can get this program? Thanks for help.

You could do this with ffmpeg also.

I've had Audacity for a while, was using it to record from a mic sometimes but mostly when I need to record music that is playing on a site and I can't download it.

audicity is okay it will add white noise
for under $70 US you can use soundforge's home studio program it has a few bells and whistles including changing the sampling rate
