I got a message yesterday that my dedicated server was just about full.

I couldn't understand how that might be true, so I called Webair, and talked to the tech guy named Ketan. He took a look at the server while I was on the phone, explained that a mysql query log had filled up the server. He stopped the mysql query logging at my request and deleted the un-needed files.

Later I got an email with an explanation of what he had done. Though I had regained 30 GB, I suspected that there were some automatic backup files that also needed to be deleted and communicated this via the emailed service ticket.

Today I got an email saying that he had indeed been able to identify un-necessary files on the server and had recovered an additional 50 GB

I just wanted to say thanks to Webair for the head's up and the great service!
