    OpenOffice question

I am using the spreadsheet program and typing in a time value "00:18:05", hours , minutes, and seconds. The program insists on formatting this so that it reflects an hour of the day instead. How do I make it stop automatically formatting my cells?

Pretty sure you just select the cells, select format cell, change time formats.
